Hey I'm Megan!

My most precious things in life are my 4 kiddos and my husband Trevor. They inspire me, push me and support me in all I do. I'm a lover of adventure, the beach, our homestead, gardening, hats and all our dogs!

Kelsi and I's friendship began a few years ago when I reached out to her on Instagram encouraging her as she was trying to decide if she wanted to step away from teaching. Fast forward 2 years. During the heart of 2023 wedding season Kelsi got hurt at one of the weddings we were working at. I witnessed all the hardships she went through with rescheduling, finding replacements etc. As I sat back and watched her navigate through this difficult time the best she could, all I could think about how it would be amazing to have a team of creatives we can count on. Especially when we know anything in life can happen.

After busy season slowed down, I started pondering the idea more of becoming partners. Even the possibilities of growing a team of trusted like-minded people with the same values and business goals as us. A few months ago, I approached her about this idea. It only took her a day to think about it! She called me back and said- okay I'm intrigued tell me more! We have spent countless hours behind the scenes bringing all this together and I couldn't be more excited to see where this journey leads us!

As we step into this new partnership, rebrand and relaunch into (our new business name) we get to bring the value of both of us to our wedding clients on a day they want to remember forever.

My name is Kelsi Becker and I’ve been the girl behind the lens for KelsiB Photography for about 10 years. I am a mom of 3 wild & free little farm boys who keep me on my toes 24/7 and the wife of my high school sweetheart They are my purpose in all that I do and motherhood is at the core of my existence.

I have had a vision for photography and film for my entire life, but it took awhile to realize it and to realize how passionate I was about it. In 2022, I took a leap of faith and quit my teaching career to become a full time photographer. I immediately began dabbling in video and I found capturing moments in motion is one of my favorite things ever. I feel like I literally see life through the lens, even when I’m not behind it and allowing this creative side of myself to really come to light has been so rewarding and I cannot wait to share that with my clients.

When Megan and I started talking as I was preparing to quit my job, she was so supportive, even knowing we were each others’ competition. Through the past couple of years we’ve started working more closely with one another and we have worked several weddings with each other and in place of each other. In 2023, I got hurt and had to step away from my scheduled sessions and weddings for a few months and Megan 110% had my back - she even got on a plane and flew to Maine in the middle of her busy season to capture a wedding so my friend didn’t have to search for a new photographer. She covered for me as best she could and was an absolute lifesaver to me and several of my brides without hesitation. When she approached me with the idea to become business partners, it was absolutely a no brainer. We have become the best of friends and share all the same creative visions and goals. I am absolutely ecstatic to work and grow our business together with her! Brides - we are dedicated to telling your unique story and we absolutely cannot wait to meet you!
